Fornax Bread Company has been providing the freshest artisan breads, pastries, soups and sandwiches since 1997. Our breads are served in some of the finest restaurants in and around Boston. In addition, we proudly serve down-to-earth soups, sandwiches, salads and pastries at our Roslindale restaurant. Everything is made daily from scratch. Come in and taste the difference!
Our bread is hand-crafted European style bread. The signature bread of Fornax is the boule, a deep flavored slow fermented and slightly sour loaf of milled wheat, organic whole wheat and organic whole rye flours. We also offer Italian style white bread, French baguettes, seeded rye, dark pumpernickel with raisins, multi grain with sunflower and sesame seeds, walnut raisin bread, fresh rosemary bread, garlic and sesame bread.
Fornax bakes morning and weekend treats such as banana bread, biscotti, cookies, brioche, croissants, scones and pastries. On holidays and for special orders we bake homemade pies and tarts. Fornax gift certificates are also available for purchase.
